Recycled Fabrics...

In developing the ground rules for creating my collection, I have been as careful as possible to find fabrics that have a low impact on the earth.

The Essential Swing Dress is made of a Cupro blend. Cupro is a recycled fabric that resembles a fine silk. It’s made of the fuzzy lint leftover in the production of cotton material which typically thrown away, Although no fabric is perfect (and anywhere near affordable) Cupro does tick many boxes. As is discussed in this article by Sustainable Review though, Cupro is quite a marvel of modern technology.

The sanded silky feel of the Essential Swing Dress and the weighty drape it has when it’s on your body make it quite a luxurious product.
